How To Watch The WWE In A Focused, Fun Manner, Whether You're New Or A Long Time Fan, 16: Brand Supremacy

It really felt like we re crusing through the 2010s for the last couple of seasons, but it all slows down here. While Impact doesn't even make an appearance (it will be back next season), Ring Of Honor only gets three episodes, but they're all excellent.

WWE went all in during this era. In addition to their main roster and NXT, they also used the WWE Network to run special tournaments, and plug their UK brand, so we get a couple of UK Championship Nights, The Cruiserweight Classic (which leads to 205 Live making an appearance on this list), and the first ever Mae Young Classic. There is so much to love that the major Raw and Smackdown titles sort of fade into the background for a bit. This is also the season that we see one of the greatest 21st century WWE storylines, The List/The Festival Of Friendship with Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho. Also the Usos and The New Day begin their absolute domination of the tag team division that is still going on today (though, as I write this Big E is still recovering from a broken neck, and Kofi Kingston is out for ankle surgery, but hopefully they'll be back for at least one more run at The Usos.
