I skipped out on working at The Cantab this week, so the prompt was given by the other judgey Cantab bartender, Emily Carroll. I'm listing my interpretation here because she's been off during the intervening weeks, and I'm too lazy to text or e-mail.
Certain human behaviors are either innate or else something we pick up merely by existing in a society with other humans. How to sneeze, how to blush, how to laugh, how to high five, how to shrug your shoulders. These are all behaviors or actions we are assume to be able to do without reading up on the subjects or taking classes at the YMCA.
Write about a behavior that you were taught that, looking back on it, you can't believe required an education.
