Random Loiterer: "Do you have the Wizard Of Oz?"
Me: "The Skottie Young graphic novels? Yea, I lo--"
RL: "NO! THE MOVIE."
Me: "No, we don't carry movies, just comic books. Your best bet is to hit up the Newbury Comics ac---"
RL: "Call them, see if they have it."
Usually, I would volunteer to do it, but...
Me: "Sorry, I don't have their number and our Internet is down." (which was clealy not a lie, I'm posting this via semaphore)
RL: "I don't want to go all the w--"
Me: "There's one right across the street. If you---"
RL: "I KNOW WHERE IT IS. I don't want to walk all the way there if they don't have it. I had to walk all the way here."
I try to be helpful to most people but I am easily unispired by people who shout at retail employees who are trying to be helpful. I also try not to judge people who don't want to walk even small distances because I'm familiar with invisible illnesses. But I'm pretty sure the only invisible illness this woman has is Affluenza, and I don't have the patience for that shit.
