The crux of the anti-gay marriage argument is that allowing homosexuals to marry sullies "the institution of marriage." They say it like marriage is an act specific to a religion. It's not. Heterosexual couples are married by the state instead of the church with some frequency. Also, Muslims get married. Hindus get married. Atheists get married. Why isn't the Christian Right out there stopping all those freaks from marring "the institution of marriage?"
I'm off to go play Bible Basher!

smjorBesides all of that other stuff, how does Britney Spears getting married for 55 hours NOT sully the institution of marraige? I don't get that one at all. Two men, totally in love and devoted to each, wanting to commit their lives to each other sullies the institution of marriage. A spoiled pop star who got drunk and thought it would be fun to get married just for the hell of it, because she knew she could get anulled the next day? Not sullying. Hmmmmm.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
